1. Pursuant to RSA 14:30-a, VI, authorize the New Hampshire Department of Justice to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $37,531 from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, COPS Office Anti-Heroin Task Force Program for the purposes of purchasing undercover vehicles to enhance investigative resources for the New Hampshire Department of Justice (DOJ) narcotics investigations, and to equip narcotics investigative activities, effective upon approval of the Fiscal Committee of the General Court and Governor and Council through September 30, 2026. 2. Further, pursuant to RSA 14:30-a, VI, authorize the New Hampshire Department of Justice to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $94,797 from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, BJA FY 23 Invited to Apply- Byrne Discretionary Community Project Funding/Byrne Discretionary Grants Program for the purposes of purchasing undercover vehicles to enhance investigative resources for the New Hampshire Department of Justice (DOJ) narcotics investigations, and to equip narcotics investigative activities, effective upon approval of the Fiscal Committee of the General Court and Governor and Council through June 30, 2027. 100% Federal Funds.
