Authorize to accept grant funds pursuant to a Grant Agreement with the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service for financial assistance from the Land and Water Conservation Fund-State and Local Assistance Program (LWCF-SLA), Minnewawa Brook Park, in the amount of $75,075 for the development of public outdoor recreation property. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2027. 100% Federal Funds. (2) Further authorize the Department, through the Division of Parks and Recreation, Bureau of Community Recreation, to award a grant to the Town of Marlborough, NH, under LWCF-SLA Program, Minnewawa Brook Park, in the amount of $75,000, for the development of public outdoor recreation property. Effective upon G&C approval through September 30, 2028. 100% Federal Funds. Fiscal Committee approved on April 17, 2026. Hunting is not a permissible use of the land at Minnewawa Brook Park, whereas fishing is a permissible use of land at Minnewawa Brook Park.
