Description

Authorize the Bureau of Construction to transfer funds in the amount of $311,152 from the Turnpike General Reserve Account to budget and expend revenue for unbudgeted bridge washing services for the Blue Star and Spaulding Turnpike. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2026. 100% Turnpike Funds. (2) Further authorize to enter into a contract with Deangelo Contracting Services, LLC, Hazelton, PA, on the basis of a low bid of $859,304 for removal of sand debris and washing of curb lines, concrete surfaces and expansion joints on 264 State owned bridges on or over Tier 1 roadways Statewide. Effective upon G&C approval through October 24, 2025, unless amended by the Department in accordance with the Standard Specifications. 51.92% Betterment and 48.08% Turnpike Operations
